Machines, traditionally operating with hardwired logic based on electromechanical circuits, are now equipped with a controller (PLC), transitioning to a programmed logic. The operator has a 7-inch Touch Screen graphical terminal through which they control the machine’s functions and receive information on operational states, alarms, recipe management, and maintenance interventions.
Gen3 is exclusively available on machines belonging to the QH and WH series, which, in this version, fully meet the requirements of Industry 4.0.
This type of control offers a more modern, fast, and efficient machine management, presenting the following advantages:
INCREASED PRECISION
Greater accuracy in resistance adjustment: each resistance can be set in percentage of power, from 0% to 100%, or based on temperature.
MONITORING
Ability to monitor the machine’s operational states, alarms, and any faults.
ENERGY SAVINGS
Eco Mode function: in the absence of operations for a specified period (adjustable), the machine automatically reduces the power of the resistances, resulting in significant energy savings.
RECIPE MANAGEMENT
Customized processing recipe management: the operator can store parameters such as job number, material type, resistance power or temperature, and heating time. These values can be saved and later recalled for repetitive processes.
TIMER MANAGEMENT
Management of operating timers: tracking total working hours, individual resistance operating hours, and heating cycles. When preset values are exceeded, the operator is alerted to the need for scheduled maintenance.
DATA TRANSMISSION
Ethernet communication with the company network: transmission of data related to machine states, ongoing processes, any anomalies, and electrical energy consumption.
REMOTE ASSISTANCE
Remote assistance for faults, anomalies, or modifications to operating cycles or the graphical interface.
